Meet the Team

Michelle Crosby

I grew up with friends and family members with disabilities and have volunteered and worked within the disability sector for the last 20 years, gaining experience in group activities, direct support, and special education. During this time, I have seen the positive impact that the right supports can have on a person’s independence and quality of life. My experience in these areas has driven me to advance my knowledge and led me into my role as a support coordinator.

I enjoy working with participants both directly and by collaborating with their support teams to ensure they have the right supports in place to meet their goals. I strongly believe that by working as part of a care team and utilising everyone’s individual skills and talents, we can achieve the best possible outcomes for participants.

I am excited to work with you and your support team to achieve the best possible outcomes for you and help you reach your goals.

Brandi Humes

Hello, my name is Brandi (she/her). I am a Psychosocial Recovery Coach with True Connections. I have 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse specializing in Mental Health treatment. In this position, I assisted adults in re-stabilizing and setting up a structure to return to life after a time of crisis. Before my career as a nurse, I worked as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for 8+ years, helping people improve their quality of life through recreation and leisure pursuits. These careers have developed my passion for helping people achieve a happier and more meaningful life. I understand that individuals have unique needs and recovery paths. I look forward to creating tailored, attainable goals with participants to achieve outcomes that bring them purpose and well-being.
